About Dr. Jones
Dana Jones, MD, is a skilled OB/GYN serving patients at Women's Health Specialists, PLLC, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
As a native of Rutherford County, Dr. Jones is honored to provide medical care to the women in this growing community as she has done for the past 18 years. She thoroughly enjoys caring for women and educating them about their health. She is skilled in all areas of OB/GYN, including obstetrics, office gynecology, in-office procedures, and gynecologic surgery (including vaginal hysterectomies and minimally-invasive surgery).
Dr. Jones graduated summa cum laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in chemistry, and then attended the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. She was a member of the first graduating class of the Underserved Areas Clinical Scholars Program. During her fourth year of residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, she served as a chief resident.
She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has served as chief of the Department of OB/GYN at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
Dr. Jones is a wife and mother of three sons, including a set of identical twins. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, church, and Bible study.
